Raindrops racing all around,
Splish,splash,drop,plop,
All I want is to touch the ground,
My life's dream is almost complete,
It's one that can't be beat,
"I'm almost there," I want to call,
"I'm almost there, I'll beat them all!"
Here I am, I've hit a nose!
I'm wiped away, as it always goes,
The ground is there, I was so near,
Instead of a raindrop, I should've been a tear,
Sad, I return home to my cloud nine,
I just have to wait until it's my time,
One day I'll make it to the soil,
And until then, I'll remain loyal,
