Another night is not upon me
another trip,
to spare
give me a chance,
I'll explain
the pain
until the lights
shine on the driveway.
I've begun the journey
can you not see,
me in here
without you?
This night remains,
cold
you I hold
pictures, mom,
of your embrace.
Give me
one more shot,
I thirst to be
a child
again
