You could never truly understand it
Unless I implanted my memories in your head,
Unless I allowed you to read every journal I've written,
Unless I shared every thought I've had.
You will never be able to comprehend what I went through
Unless you lived a year with the nightmares I have,
Unless you cried the thousands of tears I've cried,
Unless you held your father while he cried,
For his lost father, and his family hating him,
All the while knowing you caused all this,
You could've prevented all of this.
You may never get the extent of the sang,
"A tiny pebble makes a whole pond ripple,"
Unless you found out my life story,
Or even better, lived my life.
I "Did the right thing,"
It was just one event, someting I thought was right,
It was a positive thing in a string of negative ones,
Yet it had a worse effect than everything else put together.
If I somehow had the chance to take it back,
To take back those four words
That were recorded by the cop, that took the legal actions-
I admit it, I might.
You could never understand
The turmoil I've been in my whole life,
The turmoil I'm in now,
And I wouldn't wish it apon you,
I wouldn't wish this apon my worst enemy-
It's what I deal with every day.

wow. That's a heavy thought. I used to wish I could implant the feelings of love I had into the (very broken) man I loved, so he could grasp how big my love for him felt to me. It's frustrating to have depths of emotion other people can't grasp, and words just fall short and fall short. I think even reading every journal of mine couldn't get it across. I'll bet you're the same way.

Very powerful, very sad. I liked the ongoing "You can't understand unless you". Written very well, told me something about you, but left a lot of you and your life as a mystery.

Wow... ...Except for a few details being changed, this sounds almost exactly like my life. I feel your pain, truly I do. From someone who's been there, it DOES get better. It feels like it might never, and true alot of the pain never goes away.. But old wounds do heal, they just leave a scar... Aweosome write.
