I return home and something has left,

Pull down the pictures and posters,

Draw from here your perfume and steal your illusion,

I sink in my corner,
face buried in my knees.

Great job! The repititions was phenomenal. This poem had so much emotion, and you did a great job writing it.
I especially loved this stanza:

Yeah well the song Dreams Go is really beautiful, I saw the yellow jackets + mike stern perform here a few nights ago and they played it and I bought their cd - and i've been like drooling over it since. it was so mature and honest sounding - so I thought I'd write something to it. the other two prompts just help me pick a direction
