Thankfulness
Has a way of coming into the heart.
Always bringing joy.
Nursing old pains, of loved ones lost, in the
Korean War, and other battles fought.
Showing love to one another,
Gives them another chance to be happy again.
It brings families closer together, in
Various ways, whether through the time spent, or
Items given, it’s the thought that counts, the
Never-ending love,
Given out on Thanksgiving day.

This poem has the word Thanksgiving going down the side. I forgot what that's called though......

Yes, being thankful and being with family stirs up sad memories as well as brings healing to the pain of the past.
