Motor vehicles roar disgruntled chants assaulting my ears
blurring by on the streets like painted smears
splattered across the backdrop of an unsettled misty night
droned zombies lugging on in a wasteland of their endless plight
I lean back against the bench unobtrusive in thought
Reading through metaphysics, and everything Aristotle taught
Fundamental principles of the essence of things
contemplating the drive behind mere men, the glory of kings
What is the real structure of the Universe and methods of God?
Most in the world find these writings and theories odd
Unable to open their minds to higher plane of existence
Only concerned with their petty lives and the easiest means of subsistence
Born into this world from my mother's womb wailing already my resistance
Vowing never to fall into line, full of determination, wisdom and unnerving persistence
To properly and clearly incorporate my ideas into the face of humanity
Opposing the so called righteous, and the tyranny of men upholding Christianity
Inflicted with divine blessing of intellectual perspectives, I was claimed afflicted with insanity
What is the nature of reality, the quanta of evolution, and natures laws
The need to open a third eye, to grasp concepts of true freedom, give one reason for pause
To rethink the evolutionary-systemic philosophy it's building blocks of primitive elements and their cause
The versatility of the human brain, enhanced by the spiritual realization, and possibilities of reincarnation
Relatively stable "systems" constructed by processes through the mechanism of variation and selection are the basis of a foundation
through space-time, particles, atoms, design the emergence of a complex organisms formation
Is all relative to earth, universe, gods, spirits, plants, animals, men, woman and whole of creation
Process that beckons you get down on your knees and call out for spectral salvation
Burning with insight on the side of street going through an unseen transformation
Into a elevated sense of sub-conscience experiencing a new kind of Revelation
The rain drops plummet from an angry sky in preparation
to wash away our old order of thought, and our entire population
Still sitting, waiting for the city bus, blessed with a new found innovation
To redirect the moralistic values of men, restrictions of religion, to teach the embrace of one's mind
break free from the standards of today, the lessons of a failing world, never again to be confined
Screech of tires stop in-front of me, wind of an open metal door, and the shadow of man behind the wheel
Call me to stand up, a living philosophical doctrine, of many ideas, became a single ideal
The metamorphosis of my being, my essence, my mind
Refined into a mix of stars, planets, universal relations with spiritual enlightenment, jumbled and entwined
Enter the bus, and reach to pay my fare
ready to help those around me grasp the concepts of why we're here, to be finally aware
wisdom falls off me like the grains ticking through an hour glass filled with sand
It's only a matter of time and patience before I can help humanity understand
To use my views and methods to ultimately reach my level and expand.

There was so much information and profound imagery in this poem that I read it several times to extract all layers of meaning. The rhyming was well done and I think this would a perfect poem for reading aloud. Thank you for your entry. Peace, Liz
