simple sounds of wonder
spent beneath the moon
always casting shadows
as spindly limbs do reach
wander through the open sky
burning white hot moon
floating through the darkness
wafting through the night
touch the sky with tenderness
rising to such heights
softness floats to earth
take a breath and feel the sounds
of night

I would take a breath and feel the sounds of night. Lovely take on this prompt. Beautiful rhythm and flow in this piece.
wander through the open sky
burning white hot moon
floating through the darkness
wafting through the night.
I floated and swooned through that stanza. A fine entry. Thank you so much. Best of luck in the judging. ~Pamela
