Your Guardian Angel

Silhouettes paint the spirit
      oblivious to serenity of an embrace
Amber affection races
    gradually coloring the soul
            pastel tones smiling
                        deep within
              to reach out
                           and touch

Mesmerizing inner beauty
          still,
oceans of sorrow
    vigorously flowed
        concealing his charm
Kissing aqua softness
   with surreal lips
   to shower true passion
      in this magical sea

Spreading blankets of love
boundaries limitless in nature
            to capture essence
of tranquil lavender buds
      that sprout out
              of his beautiful heart

Gifting diamonds
    packaged in smooth glances
         a showcase of
  crystal clear devotion
        to let him know,


     "I'll be there when
        he needs me
           to light up his life.
Holding his hand firmly in my own..
    walking towards the happiness

          that he deserves..

         ..always and forever
                       by his side"

    Gotta say this. I really do like this one. I like the promises made in it... that you'll be there when he needs you. This is truly a romantic poem. I do like it a lot. It wasn't left aligned but I would read it anyway. And I do like the structure and all. Reads well. Flows well. Is full of romance and tenderness. A rather pleasant write. Thanks for sharing this with us and thanks for entering it into my contest

    wow. This is amazing! The flow, form, everything, its so surreal, yet real, invokes severe feelings. Makes the reader want to feel more, Its sweet, lovely. I love this piece!

    Writer's block?
    Nu uh.
    This sings.
    Truly.
    Hold your head up my lovely, you are a poet, and dont ever doubt that.You might have times where you think you dont belong in this realm, but it's only self doubt, it passes. I know when I write something really good, or intense. . sometimes I have dry spells of doubt and exhaustion mentally.
    It's just not there for me, and I wont force my muse when she's nothing to say.
    You are just starting, just think where your writing will be in six months.
