It seems like only yesterday
as these feelings come rushing in
and my words pour upon this page
painting of my mind, the reflections within
Love much more than a word
romancing should never really end
it’s more than just a heartfelt thought
in the song that we both send
Forever is such a long time
so many surprises along the way
love and life can be lost
it can suddenly be taken away
