It is not often
that I read something which
Makes me feel so filthy
But I have
And I need the cleansing
That only three centuries of winter can provide
It is cold outside
Ten degrees or thirty
But what matters is that I'm outside with no
Scarf
Coat
Shirt
I go back for shoes
Before making the trip to my car.
And illogically, I walk slowly
Afraid to stir up the wind around me.
And after three centures if winter
I find my Civic locked.
