Loss

loss

like guilt

a haunting

presence in mind

sleeping on my back

never again

close to her

silence

loss

Author notes

I chose to write about losing a loved one, who was very close to me! I used the quote:

"and I think of each life as a flower, as

commonas a field daisy, and as singular"

- mary oliver, when death comes

as my inspiration!

I'm so sorry for your loss. You did a fine job with this one. I also lost my son just 14 monhts ago and he was just 24. It is very black and painful to never be close to them again while here on earth. Best wishes.

    Blessings,
    Kelle Marie
