Wireless Internet,
...
Waiting to connect,
...
Can not find network,
...
Can not connect.
Wireless Internet,
...
Spotty at best,
...
When you live in an apartment,
...
It always resets.
Concrete walls,
...
heaven and hell,
...
Blocks all sound,
...
But signal as well.
Wireless Internet,
...
Messing with my head,
...
Stopping my poetry,
...
As I re-try to connect.
Author notes
This poem, took five minuets to write, and two hours to post
because my stupid wireless Internet would not connect. I am sure
anyone who has wireless Internet in a basement or apartment building
can relate.

Cute!
I like this a lot, I think it's clever. -
I didn't know that about the concrete. I used to have my own computer but my building is mostly wood, a firetrap but at least there was no problem with transmission that I notice.
Enjoyed your write.

I just wanted to say I entered this in the contest because I have never seen anyone write about internet before. As well, I believe I took on an original form with this by adding the "..." and putting each statement into a new line.

Hee hee hee. I just went to university, and I know what you mean!! I think the walls to our rom must be lead-lined, because mobile phones can't connect to the network unless you're in our kitchen! I like the third stanza particularly because it's "well this is good, but it also does this and it sucks!"
Nice write!
