A Place To Remember

There's a place that
I'll always remember.
I was born there
in early November.
I'll never forget the
days that went by
laying and watching
clouds in the sky.

Trees that provided
shade from the sun.
Large yard to play
and always have fun.
In the summer, we
jumped into the pool.
In winter, we played
although it was cool.

Bedrooms for six of us
and one just for me,
with posters all over,
no walls could you see.
The dressers were all
decorated with toys.
Some were for girls,
and others for boys.

I grew up along with
my three brothers,
always visiting one
of our grandmothers.
We drank lemonade
and ate ice cream,
feeling just great,
just like a dream.

We used to always
be playing pretend,
felt like those days
never would end.
Now that I'm older
and moved away,
I still remember
that place today.

Author notes

It's a little bit about my life. I know not really that important, but my childhood meant a lot to me. I decided to write this because I will never forget about the good times in life.
