You curse and yell
Hit me and make me fall
You call me names
And play your games
You act like you’re bad
Tell me how I make you mad
You know how hard I try
To hold back my cries
So you cant see
How much you hurt me
When all is said and done

You tell me that you love me
That you and I will always be
Why do you say these things
When they’re words you don’t mean
Your words make my ears bleed
They are words that are not guaranteed
Miscommunications of confusion
Of an unwanted illusion
No woman should be treated this way
That’s what my friends say
They don’t know and only see
The physical abuse you do to me
The decision is mine to make
It makes my heart ache
Do I stay or do I leave
Do something to make me believe
That you wont hurt me anymore

Nobody should be treated like this, no matter what. People who do this to others are just weak myselfs and cowards, they can't find the right things to say or the energy to walk away and therefore they are weakest of all. I am sorry that you have had to go through this kind of treatment.

u need to leave asap! i just got outta marriage exactly like this and it may hurt but it WILL be worth it! u NEVER let a man tell u ur not good enough to be a woman! we have done amazing things in history and none of those women let a man tell them what they can and cannot do and neither should you! get out of it and move on! i promise you wont regret it!
