Itchy fingers reach for the tools,
caressed gently, in the hand of driven expression,
fighting to emerge.
Composure, once held in swift check,
now fractures into frantic disarray,
as colour spills onto canvas with
renewed vigor.
Shadows merge into mirrored echoes
of outlined beauty,
sculptured with textured control,
strength envelopes free flow
towards finesse,
fevered concentration accentuated
by the passion to achieve,
comes to a full stop.
A flawless finale.

Composure, once held in swift check,
now fractures into frantic disarray,
This is an apt description of all that is artistic expression. Nice choice of artwork--and title. -

Wow. Coming from an amatur artist, it's so realistic and relatable. I love how you put the whole thing in italics and also the picture helped as well. Nicely done!
