My burden was to share yours
But that was yours halved
So I didn't mind.
We talked,
We laughed,
I sighed, near cried
The news reached my ears
That you'd near died
The love I felt
Redoubled
I knew you were in trouble
Now I'm learning
The fire's burning
Moving on,
We are still one.
This stony road was not of my making
But I walk on still
The same path I am taking.
In closing, I say no more than this.
God bless, sweet Chris.
