Oh the tales I’d tell
If only I could speak
I’d tell of everything that I have ever known
I would talk of gentle spring days
The sun warm on my back
Grass soft under foot
Sweet smelling air wafting through my nose
I would tell of the dog days of summer
The sun beating down upon my back
Grass dry, brittle, and brown under my feet
Smells of sweat, and smoke drifting on the air
I would talk of crisp fall days
The breeze nipping at my nose
Leaves creaking, and crackling under toe
The sound of children’s laughter fills the air
I would talk of blustery winter days
The suns weak rays shining down on my back
Snow frozen cold upon the ground
The smell of pine and cinnamon floating on the breeze
Oh yes my dear two legged friend
All the tails I’d tell of my doggie days
If only I could speak

Awh this was so sweet; I've always wanted to hear a dog talk, and find out their views of the world, and what they [really] think of us humans;
Also I imagine that experiencing seasons through the life of a dog is obviously so much different to that of a human; you had some great descriptions in here, particularly the 'cracking leaves' under toe, and what not!
nice job - thanks for entering

This is a cute write.
Dogs are adorable.
You have nicely expressed the imagery of various seasons from a dog's point of view.
Thanks for your entry.
