What color

What color is your inner light,
does it simmer low?
Does it shine a crystal white?
what color is your light?

Is it green with envy,
is it sad and blue,
is it red of roses
or a different hue?

Is it grey and ashy
or a dirty earthy brown,
is it royal purple,
do you wear a crown?

Is it bleak and black,
or is it mellow yellow,
are you a morbid chap
or a happy fellow?

What color shines within you,
what color do you give,
what color shall define you
when you cease to live?

Please tell me what you think

This has given me paws for thought. Does the one who penned this speak of an inner light as he says or could that be interpreted as the light from one's aura. Such things to ponder! Either way...tis a well written poem.

    Thinking about colors ...

I see myself as White ... holding all the colors in prism.

    Beautiful poem, I loved it.

A very interesting poem, Terry. I think I have several colors within me... wonder what color it would make if I mixed them altogether.

This is very well written and poses some things to really think about.
