Santa has lost his soaring flight
reindeer won't be of season's good cheer
lazy and full of rich red wine
they refuse to fly and pull his sleigh
toys are strewn in the new fallen snow
glasses of wine scattered here and there
all would sing for another round
a bewildered Santa has lost his way
patiently he chides them to obey
gifts and surprises wait for another day
