Death of a Witness

Waiting in the water of a potter of the light
To be taken home so soon away from all the fright
Sees the look of questioning upon the face of brass
Tries to soften up a bitter, broken heart of glass
She's just waiting for her king, her master and her guide
Although they're coming after her she has no need to hide
Just for speaking of the truth, just for speaking of the way
Just for telling them the loving words that she is taught to say
They cannot stand the thought of it, they'd rather she be gone
They've been blinded by the light from when the sun had shone
She's completely willing to die for the God she loves and serves
They don't see the witness though, they just see eyes and curves
A temtress, a crazy tramp is what they choose to see
They don't know she's not controlled; her life for Him is free
And now before they come to put this christian girl to death
She'll still say "hallelujah" up until her dying breath

oh wow, this was a very surprising take on the picture I gave you but I really like it!
the write is strong, and different. It draws you in, and makes you feel everything. I especially like the flow. It was consistent and definetally not forced.
    Well done, I loved it
Thanks for entering and good luck!
