...And you were...the best I ever had...

I could'nt bare the pain when you left
the cold floor underneath my feet
sent a chill throughout my body
grasping for your warmth that left me cold...

Was my beauty not profound enough to keep you
For I cannot change your hearts direction
even beauty cannot hold a mans heart
so I wait, while the rain hides my tears...

Tears that could have filled seas upon oceans
Waiting for your love to return back to me
I was a flower lost in the hurricane of your memory
memorys that over ruled my common sence...

I could not live, tortured by your absence
So as you hold my lifeless body
that was drained of all hope
you whisper into unconcious ears

I'm sorry...

You were the best I ever had...

This is a deeply saddened write. I can see how the prompt inspired it. This write can be edited, I did notice some spelling and grammatical errors.

Thank you for entering. Good Luck.
