The Aching Heart

Blood is love, both are fluid
My heart aches for you to accept me
So many centuries spent in this graveyard
Waiting for you to come and see
I'm trapped over here, I cannot call to you
I'm buried along with my aching heart
If only once I could just see you
Or reverse the day when you pushed me from your cart
If only you could finally accept me
And put the trouble out from my aching heart

I remember the day when I had come to you
Pleading and crying on my folded knees
My skin was scraped, and blood flowed out
But you never answered, I only heard the wind whistling through the trees
I was but poor, you were gifted with money
You had the power to buy anything in the world
You were the sweetest man I'd ever loved
Yet you couldn't satisfy the heart of a tearful girl
If only I could just see you
Or reverse the day when you pushed me from your cart
If only you could finally accept me
And put the trouble out from my aching heart

The hard marble of the grave lies above me
I push and shred the satin with my teeth
I open the coffin and look outside
And breathe in the air-how nice it is to be free!
The birds are squawking, the roses are withering
The bats are flying and the snakes are slithering
For sweetness had never taken my side
Or else it would have made me your bride
If only I could just see you
Or reverse the day when you pushed me from your cart
If only you could finally accept me
And put the trouble out from my aching heart

The villagers are running, the fires are burning
They say hell hath not a fury a woman scorned
But I still cherish you, and do not wish to perish you
To make you happy was the reason I was born
I remember the summers when we used to make love
And the winters of passion, as white as a dove
Of the touch of your silken wonders, of your hand moving on my flesh
I was only a dog, and you led me with your leash
Of my trembling hands, of your ice-cold lips
As they moved around and your hands were the best
How I long to feel them, and that is why I come
So I can see you
And reverse the day when you pushed me from your cart
And you could finally accept me
And put the trouble out from my aching heart

Your jaws drop as you see me, your eyes widen in surprise
Oh look at your poor face, how quickly time flies!
Your skin is wrinkled, your eyes are dull
You have no hair, and I can see your skull!
And who is that lady sipping tea with you?
Does she love you like I used to do?
But you are only mine, you were mine from the start
You were the sole possession of my aching heart

Your hands drop the teacup, you pick up a gun
And fire three rounds at me, not two or one
What happened to you darling, oh why did you forget me?
You could have let me marry you, then why didn't you let me?
If your father didn't like me, why did you even bother?
I know you cannot cheat me, so what is the matter
If only I could just make love to you you
Or reverse the day when you pushed me from your cart
If only you could finally accept me
And put the trouble out from my aching heart

You slowly crumple on the cabin's wooden floor
The lady screams, faints, and bangs her wood on the floor
Oh well, if you would like me to drag you to your grave
I will be more then happy to make you my slave!
You're not speaking, darling, what's the matter with you?
Have you gone silent like me too?
Oh, look, there are the angels, they've come to recieve us
Aah, oh Lord, you are so fair and just
I could see him and reverse the day he pushed me from the cart
I was finally able to put out the trouble
From my aching heart.

An interesting concept to say the least. Unrequited love burns on even after death. Yes, I guess I would go with that and the spirit demands satisfaction, " to put out the trouble from my aching heart."
