True Love

You found true love
I'm so happy for you.
No I’m not I’m jealous.

You're looking forward to tomorrow
When you see him again.
I’m still trying to get through today.

You want me to meet him.
I’d love to.
He doesn’t love me why should I want to meet him.

You're sure I’ll find true happiness one day.
Oh I know, it’s just a matter of time
Don’t patronise me, I’m not a sob story.

You broke up !
I’m so sorry for you.
Welcome to the real world.

Thank you so much for entering this poem in my contest. I absolutely love it, more than words can say. I love how you have these conversations in plain text, but the truth is revealed in the italicized words. I know how that feels and I've been there before, when I say something but I feel that I HAVE to say something else. Bravo on this piece!

Oh very clever indeed. I'm liking tour sense of humour already or should I say dry wit!
Great piece. All the best with it
