Wasted Growth

A broken seed may sprout too soon
Where walls give up on growing
A seelding favoured by the moon
Whose strength stopped wind from blowing

Yet, without warning, nature's best
Was labelled 'waste of time'
This view of ignorance expressed
The folly of mankind

So for revenge, that wind returned
No strength left to deflect
And all the power I had eared
Had nothing to protect
