A Eulogy for Eros

your wings flutter as you lie in crimson,
stabbed to death with your own arrows;
i'm sorry it had to end like this.
i'm sorry i never knew you.

Author notes

Wheee...

    Succinct and emotional.
    Which is pretty much what poetry should be, yeah?

    Anyway, I liked this.
    And the author's notes made me giggle.

    Awww this is so sad. So expressive though and heartwarming. I know how it feels though to never truly get that special time with someoen we want.
