I turn my phone off that way they wont ever know
I really do love her but my feelings cant show
Because my buddies wouldnt ever let me hear the end
If they really know shes more than just my girlfriend

Shes the other half of my heart that makes it whole
Shes the world to me, but knows that im the one in control

I go out with my friends and play poker every night
Even if I knew that my girlfriend wouldnt be alright
I wake up the next day tell her I love her very much
And that I couldnt wait to get home to feel her touch

But I was really at a bar dancing with a girl
when shes at home thinking that im her whole world

Then I get up, get ready and head out with the boys for a beer

I stay out all night and never gave her one single phone call
Because I was to busy giving this game of pool my all
She called me just about 10 times every hour I was gone
But I was to busy and didnt even get home till dawn

I treat her like crap and she still sticks with me till the end
She thinks that im the one guy who she can actually depend
She calls me every night leaving voicemails on my phone
Telling me shes leaving me if I dont get my ass home
