A sadness without bitterness,
in its purest,
as a diamond, a tear flowing,
seeps and place
grey carpet worn, but still
under your tired feet,
a peculiarity
that pervades eternity.
Who said,
grass grows on earth?
I don't see rubble and dust...
Who said everything
is governed by love?
I don't see
fear and hatred in turn.
Watching the visions of innocence,
look like empty streets of ghosts,
sky screams so
within the fire of hell eternal.
Arms emaciated, eyes cruel,
under sugary dancing
outside stage,
lips spit on mouth feel
the sparks on a vision crazy.

This was... stunning. You did so well and took the prompt so much further than I was expecting people to.
Having said that though you're outside the 50 word limit
Thank you anyway, I really enjoyed getting the chance to read this piece.
