morning breaks like waves upon the shore
unfurling moments; crayon markings on a wall
sunlight glimmers; whorls of colours
as misty thoughts dance, then fly with
butterfly kisses and dragonfly tomorrows
all laid out in leafy garments
as graceful swans glide across polished mirrors
reflecting ancient skies
this daybreak...

Lovely imagery here in this poem. I really liked "dragonfly tomorrows". I always used to tell my children that dragonflies are actually today's fairies, lol - so see where you took my mind

My only critic would be that perhaps you were a bit too heavy on the adjectives but other than that, this poem falls wit a soft ease on the senses. Thank you for sharing it with us in the contest.
