my home to me is more than just a place to live and greet others.
my home is me.
if it is dirty i feel down,
if it is clean i am happy.
i let my home take on my ways,
my feelings.
my home is not just where i set up camp.
my home is where i will live my life for eternity.
no matter what my home is me.
when i look back to all my memories,
i see my home in them.
from when i learned to walk and talk,
to my first kiss,
i see my home.
my home is me.
it takes on all my qualities.
clean and spiffy on one day the next not so pretty.
it twists and turns,
gives me comfort.
my home makes me happy.

Such truths here. I relate. I would love to have seen more SHOW than TELL by use of great imagery. Free Verse allows for those things. Thank you so much for entering.
