but you stayed there.

Our love was true,
but the pain was greater.
I left without your opinion,
I was your traitor.
But you held strong,
even though your hand was bare.
Even when I was gone,
you were always there.
I never thought,
I'd see you on the road.
You smiled so sweetly,
my heart was about to explode.
You left it all behind,
just as I did.

even if heaven were to forbid.
