Dance of the Elves

In the moonlight elves appear

Soft and silent as the deer

Owls hoot and cougars roar

To welcome those of forest lore

With gentle grace they twist and leap

While all the world rests, asleep

The lone wolf calls among the pines

As lunar light slowly shines

They dance within their secret glade

Until the dawn, and then they fade

What did you think
