Days turn to years as life fades to the last phase of time all the miles traveled accumulate like ghost in my closet, watching as a dream of white covers like fog on the mountain top, as clouds surround cling like mist to cover all, the smell of the south wind signals change on the horizon. what has been slowly rides along this wind to carry the past far away, never to haunt a soul again, a rebirth gives hope to the hopeless of this world a chance to find salvation or maybe faith just need a reason to believe life was not a wasted dream. freedom will be found, the time of my after life is drawing near, a place of no fear, where paradise rest in the field of golden hills, the sky is always blue and thoughts are pure, innocence is abound and any dream you have will come true. So many before wept of pain swept into the sea of sorrow, lives lost wash upon the shore leaving no mark in the sand soon to be caught in the tide of there destiny, no chance did the damned have, fate was carved deep in that sand, life was gone before they knew what happened. Questions left unanswered fill minds that still search for reasons some live while others die like flowers with no rain. closing my eyes as I inhale the wind I shall ask my final questions put to rest my hate and anger, I will bow to the gods of my destiny and ask for the gift of immortality only want to roam with the spirits of the dead, so many people I have missed one last chance to say my last respects after there death never was there another chance, my words to them were gone but never forgotten, inside your memory will last till I see you again in another life wanting the day to be when we can run free like the days of our youth, the time seems so long ago. Growing up was at hand foolishness filled our head but what fun we had in the summer sun wish it could have lasted forever, but as we know all things must end just as young grows old, just as the stars give way to the new day, and bad memories of past life fade to drift away along corridors of my mind, rain drops form from the mist as the air I breath is cleansed, thunder sounds the earth is flooded with lost souls pouring out of the orifice of hades unleashed to fill the streets the banished ones return to seek blood from the damned, in this second I fall to my knees as I gaze to a fire red sky knowing well the end is here boiling seas, cracked earth engulfs the forest, mountains crumble my flesh I can no longer feel, my body is no longer needed I sense my spirit ascending a ghost in the fog I have become a dark blessing to behold, I now roam with the dead I have been laid to rest I embrace my fate, the light of earth reigned now reduced to pitch black sky etched in the linage of mankind now in darkness, beware of the shadows as you stare into the eyes of the demon usher spite and grim reprise for the new kingdom has risen from the ashes of time gone no despair finally salvation I have found from freedom a life long quest for a feeling I have never witnessed
