Yes it was a coming of age
my boys first two wheel bike
fully equipped with training wheels
it was a special day for my tyke
The setting in the country
long lane and a great big yard
one would think it would be simple
I never imagined it could be this hard
Our laneway shared with an elderly couple
only a Cadillac, theirs parked in the yard
the boy was doing great all up and down the lane
he seemed to be a natural, it didn’t seem hard
As the bike veered towards the Cadillac
I noticed there was no reduction in speed
as he crashed with speed into the drivers door
I was left to explain this most uncomfortable deed

4. Retell a tale of something funny that happened in your past, that wasn't funny at the time, but now, it is freaking hilarious.

Oh my, the sight that your words have painted. I hope the son was okay. Wonder what the elder couple thought about it all.
