Pinocchio claimed the window
His favorite place and seat
He loved to look out the window
Sitting in the sunlight was neat
How he loved to wave to each
Yes, sometimes his stories
Often carried his nose away
How he loved the excitement
It added to the game
If we were like Pinocchio's nose
Well, what the heck
Everyone has a gimmick
They are used at work or play
At least his britches fit
And he still has his shoes and socks.
