I gave him my heart,
I gave him my soul,
I gave him a part of me that
no one else has ever known.
I gave, gave, gave,
and loved so deep,
but I was left with tears
that made me weak.
All I was was someone to use,
but I was blind to what he felt,
'cause I seem to fall for
those who make my heart melt.
When I lost him, I lost a
piece of myself,
I lost something that
only I felt.
But when I bow my head and pray
to the heavenly Father above,
I find that I'll lose people, but
there's no love like His love.
Everything that happens,
it happens for a reason,
leads you to new, yet we wonder
why it leaves our hearts bleeding.

Alright, what a great right, it is simple. And yet, sad. I guess, I don't know, I would think of this as a life lesson of sorts.
Thank you for your entry.
