I think it's important
to surround yourself
with things that make you happy
anything anything at all
to make you feel better if your sky
should seem to start to fall
Live and let let live
in the moment
"there is no future
there is no past
I live this moment as the last."
Live each moment for that particular moment
never let memories of good times falter
while at the same time not letting them drag you down
Can't let the bad things
linger or dwell on
time for focus on the good
that's what should be remaining strong
Author notes
There is no future there is no past i live this moment as my last.
So if you've read some of my other poems from the past three or four months you can see that a majority of them are related to the struggles I had with moving on from stuff that happened at a theatre i worked at last summer (and one particular person I worked with there who i am choosing not to name) This poem is basically a final poem in the collection of poems related to that whole situation. I'm over it now. I'm ready to move on with my life. I know I will end up losing people who are important to me if I keep dwelling on the past so much.
