Anxious
she tells herself that she missed something
hand in pocket,
her fingers surround a cold black shell
exacerbating nerve
how long has it been now?
two hours? three?
fumbling around in her purse
she removes the battery, to silence her phone
Untraceable
If only he hadn't hurt her again
If only
Sirens echo in the distance
as her heart pounds
her head screams
RUN!

Reading through these entries I am loving what people are doing with the prompt. This is simple and in its simplicity it makes the reader more involved in making their own emotions. If that makes sence

This is fantastic. Thank you and best of luck.
