I miss the snow
the bare branches of naked trees
the green beneath the white
and the white beneath the grey
I miss the snow
the slippery frozen walkways
the late lazy mornings
and the prick of the wind
I miss the snow
the smell on a thick coat
the hands in pockets
and the scarf to hide under
I miss the snow
the loneliness in the cold
the search for warmth
and the ice creams in winter
I miss the snow
the quietly busy city
the duvet that cuddles
and that calming sensation
I miss the snow
its softness to the touch
the magic from the sky
with its perfect symmetry

Gentle
The gentle ness of this is so calming, its Angelic. Like the repitition of 'I miss'. Nice entry, with a friendly feel around it. -
Nice
I only saw the snow twice in y life. So it's nice to read a poem that reminds me of what it's like. What am I missing.. I like it. Good work. Good luck
