& Juliet's on the bathroom floor;
finding his voice in the static and
scratching his name into peeling walls.
'Romeo, Romeo, where for art thou thy Romeo.'
chug.chug.chug.
she's choking on a chemical cocktail
and throwing him a sunrise
to remember..
& she'll never know;
that was the day he died inside.
Author notes
I actually know two people called Romeo and Juliet who had a relationship.
Ironic much?
Probably not my best.

Very sad, putting a modern twist to a classic love story. But your notes bring an edge of humor to it. I don't this piece would be the same without the notes!! Thanks for entering and good luck!!!

Ha, that is very ironic. Every guy I've known called Romeo has been boring and every girl called Juliet up her own ass. So, what a lovely combination!
