You thought you'd fuck with my mind
but I'm stronger than you.
I warned you you couldn't compete
but your arrogance and pride blinded you.
So you thought you couldn't drown
but your hostile attitude showed your stupidity.
My counsel went unheard,
as you dressed in pride's cloak of superiority.
But your stupidity and competitiveness
blinded you,
as you sank deeped into a facade
of mire and muck.
You'll asphyxiate soon,
gagging on your conceit,
vanity is deaf
and you'll drown in the silence.
Can't you feel your foosteps slowing,
your vision blurring,
because you're wading into oblivion
and I'm fucked if I care anymore.
Beligerant minds smother
in irrational self worth
and I see you sinking, sinking
even after you sought my counsel.
I don't like playing games
and you played me for a fool,
you're on your own now
for you chose to ignore caution's flag,
still blinded by condescension.

This is absolutely bang on for the prompt. Brimming with the most righteous anger, venting, ranting, excellent.
"I'm fucked if I care anymore", reminds me of a line that myself and friends have been using for years....'Can't be fucked to care'.
Good write.
