Wallow

Missing image

blindly gazing into the sun
my eyes glazed with tears
I've come so far to fall this far
how will I find my way back

I look down at my hands
folded lamely in my lap
what good are they anyway
what good am I

...in my grief I wallow

This is really deep and emotional, I could really relate. You did an amazing job portraying the emotion. I'm going to guess that your prompt was greif since you didn't tell me in the AN. Thanks for entering and have a great night ♥

this is very deep and sad, i really connected with this, it took me straight back to an event in my life nearly twenty years ago, not sure i wallowed, but i felt heavy greif.

A deeply sad piece, but it brings about honest in the sense that this is how many of us are and some of us never stop being this way.

    Good use of emotions
    Well penned
