Torn within
Yearning yet pulling away
Emotions overwhelming
Control destiny’s direction
Ruining all chances
Distraught from turmoil
No chance for escape
Treadmill captures once more
Running in circles
Tied like an addict
Unable to free thy self
Overpowered by confusion
Spellbound, trapped
Inside the mind
That won’t allow
Happiness ~ lost

Beautifully expressed. your feelings run rampant through this poem, leavings emotional thoughts, of your life. Many of us, have similar thoughts & feelings, lost not knowing which way we should turn. Life is never a guaranteed, no scripts we can follow, or maps to lead us to our destination. We make best choices we can, striving to find happiness and love from day to day. Life is too short to live without love. Excellent write.
