Clip my wing for I shall sin
I fell in love with her again
A forlorn dream best left in night
my love for her can not take flight
Feelings I can not let go
and still wear my halo
For the love of my life
is someone elses wife
I can not ask her to choose
my dream of her then I would lose
Forbidden love has it's cost
It can't be given without being lost
Forever in my heart will hide
these feelings that I have inside
In shadows I will always live
my love for you I can not give
If I never say to you
all the things that I want to
I wont be told to go away
I will have another day
