Great work. "kiss you black and blue. From a poetry writing stand point this poem has nice rhyme and imagery and an overall good flow. A good poem.

I really liked the rhyme of this poem. You've got some great choice of words there. especially the part of mentality. It makes me think of how others may wonder of how people could say or do certain things in life, but really unless a person were to be able to read another person's mind, no-one can really know. Unfortunately I haven't heard the song this is written to. I'll have to give it a listen to sometime. Thanks for sharing and keep that pen flowing.
