If he entices my impulses like wine.
Making me feel gooey, but still fine.
If the 'kid' in him calls out to mine
we'd be halfway there on the incline.
When I'm down, if he finds a way
to lift me, rekindle the sunny day
wrap his jokes in the overlay
having the audacity to speak his say.
He'll own the rich/raw depth of my essence
like a lost song coming into evervescence
blocking my grey like the pure luminescence
and to boot parting with my acquiescence.

Though we may have a long list of wants, really for most of us it is simple: Someone who is kind, supportive and understanding. We can train them if they have those qualities to begin with, lol. A lovely poem.
