Insatiable anger that devoured all else.
Black hatred untold so glacially cold,
Freezing the hearts within ourselves.
Inside you, dark feelings revealed without cue,
Tension and stress becomes a catalyst.
Afraid I’ll see your desires, red and bloody,
Abnormal, shocking dreams you can’t dismiss.
And in me, misanthropic anxiety,
A canker in my chest I can stand no more.
I’m so afraid this will push you away,
This self-destructive duality I so abhor.
Together we fight darkness that eclipses the night,
But I know there is light in you those others forsook.
Lest we forget there is innocence in us yet,
The look in your eyes is an angel overlooked.
The strength we have others won’t understand,
But you are the one my love is reserved for.
We’ll learn control because we are one tempered soul,
We’re reflections of each other in the same mirror.
