When I saw her many years ago
I wanted to hold her close to my heart
But I couldn't do so
Her emerald eyes called to my spirit to give in
To the longing that remained inside me
I now know that I can hold her now
Beyond the firmament of judgement
Which comprises people's cultures
With her beautiful spirit embracing mine
Though now she is so far away
The one day, maybe, I can see her again
When holding her in infinite happiness
With her brown hair blowing in paradise's wind
Her eyes sparkling in the sunless sky
Somehow, in some way I would hold her close
For the first time
If I saw her in heaven
