Friday night party's out in the field
Don't tell the freshmen, our lips are sealed
Light the fire, have a beer
Oh tonight, it's gonna get crazy here
John's jumpin' the fire, I'm sittin' on his truck bed
I think Bob's lightin a doobie out in the shed
Laughin' loud and telling jokes
When school's over, I'm gonna miss these folks
No Saturday morning hangover, I feel fine
Out with the girls tonight, and we're drinkin' wine
Laughin' loud, chillen in the hot tub
Wishin we were old enough to get into a club
Senior year, oh the memories we're making
The world in front of us, there for the taking
Someday, we'll have to grow up and act right
But oh thank God, we don't have to do it tonight
Author notes
For a contest, using songs. I sort of combined "Live Until I Die" by Clay Walker & "Young" by Kenny Chesneyfor my muse. Makes me miss high school just a wee bit..
