Life has become no more then a tapestry
My wishes are painted on its surface
Fake, unwanted, torn, and thrown away,
It was my only protection, falling apart at the seams,
But then you came
Something real
Something I could hold
Something I loved
But my love once shown was never returned
Instead you took my heart in your fist
And threw it to the ground,
With my foolish wishes I picked it up once more,
Now cleaned and repaired I keep it safe,
But I never learn do I?
I am still standing here waiting for
You to realize your mistake and come back
To fly away with me in to my tapestry
And make all those abandoned Wishes, hopes, and dreams
A reality
