layng in his arms
listening to the radio
not really watching the time

we were so young
we were only 18
getting married that summer
in his parents backyard
next thing you know
5 years dow the road
with a baby on your hip
and another on the way

10 years down that same road
that baby on your hip has grown
crying over a guy
while the other's crying
over a mess she made
oh man! how time flys
when you're having fun
laying in his arms

okay not my best poem. i was half asleep when i wrote it. but it is still a poem i wrote.
this poem is about two teens falling in love and staying together. they don't care about the time as long as they are with eachother.

Been there, done that, don't bother. Nice poem for a young girl but you don't know yet the heartache, the tears and the forgotten dreams. Neither did I at 15.
